A lot has changed in 30 years, and many consumers have no idea what they are buying, and what they should expect for reliability for their systems. The question is, why are you paying for so many repairs? In the South, re-occurring revenue is extremely important. Do you fall in that category?

Question The power light started blinking a couple of days ago and the system is "beeping" until I press the "*" button. My manual indicates there could be a problem with the battery. I'm pretty sure the battery was replaced in 2004. That seems like a long time for a battery to last, so I'm thinking if I just replace the battery, the problem will be solved. Does that sound right to you? If so, where do I get one of these batteries?

12V battery and I have them in stock.
$30.00 and I do take plastic.
Shipping can be 9 or 10 bucks depending where you live.
My advise...do not take the battery out yet, until you get your replacement.
