Question
I have an ADT system installed. I discontinued their monitoring service, and then switched the phone from Verizon to Time Warner Cable. Now the CO detector doesn't work. Anything I can do to fix it?

Hello Martin, and thanks for writing.

Well, there's no correlation between monitoring services and whether the CO detector works. Likewise, changing the telephone service would have no effect on its operation, either.

Now, from your description, I can't tell whether you mean that the detector itself isn't working, or if the control is registering a trouble, or something else.

So, aside from making sure that both the CO detector and the alarm system have power, there's nothing you can do to fix the CO detector.

If you can provide  a more detailed description of what's not working, perhaps I can help more.
