Expert: John E. Pecore Power Quality Engineer - 11/4/2009
Question Hi,
I need a CCTV camera enclosure that could tolerate cold, freezing temperature of winter and hot temperatures of summer. Here the minimum during the winter is -33 Celsius (-28 F) without considering the wind chill factor. During the summer we get a maximum of 34 Celsius (94 F). I would like an enclosure that would keep the camera running in those extreme temperatures. Is there a time tested solution to this problem?
Best regards,
MelisandeNeowald
Answer No but I have such an enclosure $35.00 and I will supply the power supply.
What is the power requirement for your camera?
No I don't have documents to support the temperature status...but my assumption as an electronic engineer, this unit will work, also has a fan in it to circulate the air.
