I know all 24 manufactures of fire alarm panels. If you ask me I will tell you who I think is the best, and who is the worst. A lot has changed in 30 years, and many consumers have no idea what they are buying, and what they should expect for reliability for their systems. The question is, why are you paying for so many repairs? In the South, re-occurring revenue is extremely important. Do you fall in that category?

Question
My display lights up but the words are gone. I thought i was the battery but I could not run the batterys test because of no display. I just installed a new battery with NO results and the old battery seems to have plenty of life (1½ years old)
What could be wrong??
Answer
Your smart chip on the board is blown......no on board memory.
Answer as to how it happen: Case ground proximiity strike by lightning took it out from ground up.
Replace the board...contact your local dealer for the install.
