Question Is it possible to replace a keypad by myself on a home alarm system and where would i be able to obtain one from in Australia
Answer Hello Jay, and greetings from South Florida in the USA.
If you're competent with small hand tools, I see no reason (so far) that you couldn't replace a keypad yourself. However, if you can tell me the make and model of the control that you have, I can give you a better idea of what's involved.
As for as where to get one in Australia, I don't know offhand. There are alarm parts suppliers for "do-it-yourselfers" online, and I see no reason why you couldn't order the keypad from the USA. There may be suppliers in Australia as well.
