Question
i can't arm the system.  in the trouble mode it says general system supervisory.
can i bypass this and arm the system?  i don't have the installer code.

Answer
James,

General system supervisory usually means that a zone is either shorted, or has lost the end of line resistance and is open. Is there any zone indicated? If not, it could be a siren or phone problem, but these are usually indentified specifically. The only way you will be able to bypass is if it is a zone problem.

Let me know if you have  LCD or LED keypad, and exactly what the error/trouble indication is.

Hope this helps,

Steve Burman
