Question The trouble light on my system recently came on. I let it stay on for several days and the system seemed like it lost power. All lights on the keypads and sensors eventually stopped working, and the system bell also sounded like it was trying to go off, but it couldn't. At that time, I did not know that the system would tell me specifically what was wrong so I assumed it was the battery and replaced it. However, even with the new battery, my keypad lights nor sensor lights are working. I tested both the outlet and the transformer and both seem to be working. Any suggestions?

Even if the transformer and outlet are fine, it's the presence of AC power at the control that counts, so the issue may be a wiring fault between the transformer and the control.
Also, the 832 has a pair of fuses on the main board. One is for the bell output and wouldn't cause the symptom you described, but the other protects the battery. If this fuse is blown, it could cause the problem you describe.
If the fuse is okay, you have AC power at the control, and a known-good battery, then I'd suspect the main board has failed.
