Question put new smoke alarms in entire house. chirping won't stop. all brand new and new batteries. green light on after installation. new, new , new what is the problem? thanks
Answer Hello Jacob, and thanks for writing.
The likely problem is not with the smoke detectors. It's probably a plug-in carbon monoxide detector.
To prove this, you can take the detectors you just installed down. Put 'em outside the house. The chirping will still be there; you just need to find it.
