Security & Fire Protection Systems/FBII XL2T Beeps when set

Trying to post a "problem resolved" note - again..

It turns out the beep sequence was just a normal "exit delay"  sequence.  Why an exit exit delay should be generated when arming in "Stay" or "Stay/Instant" modes is illogical to me - but FBII did this. Worse the FBII manual could have the sequence in the "keypad sounder" listing.  If I had listened to the beep for the 60 sec default exit delay it would have stopped.  However, I resorted to mumbling profanities before this.

Thanks again for the reply..
