I am assuming you are using an LCD keypad, the Aux "A" alarm you are referring to is the panic button "A" has been pressed. The code may not work for 2 reasons. The code is wrong and to reset it you will have to get into the main programming or try pressing the * key then add a 1 to the front of the code you have.
