Question Hello...
We have a hard wired smoke alarm (lifesafer) and it is beeping or more like chirping every 10-20 seconds and nothing we have done(change battery or flip electrical box switch) will make it stop. What is the problem and what could we do?
Answer Hi Michael, and thanks for writing.
It's hard to say what's wrong with your detector other than it's not working correctly.
Try this: disconnect the electric harness and remove the battery. Then press and hold test button for 20 seconds. Put everything back together and it should be fine.
