About Ariela
Expertise
I own all the DVDs, and have watched all of the special features and commentaries on all the episodes, most of them several times. I have whole sections of dialouge memorized as well as knowing a lot of little details. I'm good at placing a random quote, character, or scene, into its correct episode and season. I can also fill you in on all details of any minor character that ever appeared on the show or any answer any minor triva-type questions. However, I don't know much about the actor's real lives, or products seen on the show.

Question
Hi,

I would like to know who gives whom a suit in one of Seinfeld eposode.  Did Seinfeld receive the suit or someone gave him the suit and who would that person be?
Thanks
Rosie

Answer
Dear Rosie,

Hi, Jerry does receive a suit in the sixth season episode "The Soup."

Kenny Bania gives Jerry a "brand new Armani suit," because he's "been working out. Went from a size 40 to a 42. [He's] huge!"

Bania then asks Jerry to buy him dinner in return for the suit, which doesn't work out too well. Bania just wants soup, which Jerry considers a meal, but Bania does not. After Jerry buys him another meal at the coffee shop Bania asks for his suit back. But by then it's too late! Jerry has passed the suit on. To Elaine's boyfriend, a "real bounder." A guy she met in England (Simon) who is staying with her.

I hope this answers your question, but if you have any further inquiries please feel free to write again. Thanks for the question!

Best wishes,
yada yada yada,
Ariela
