About Ariela
Expertise
I own all the DVDs, and have watched all of the special features and commentaries on all the episodes, most of them several times. I have whole sections of dialouge memorized as well as knowing a lot of little details. I'm good at placing a random quote, character, or scene, into its correct episode and season. I can also fill you in on all details of any minor character that ever appeared on the show or any answer any minor triva-type questions. However, I don't know much about the actor's real lives, or products seen on the show.

Seinfeld - Susan Ross' mom

Expert: Ariela - 4/7/2009

Question
Is she the same woman who appears in an earlier season episode as a hooker who handcuffs george to the bed in a hotel room and takes his clothes? Everyone says I'm crazy, it's not the same person, but they sure do look alike. Thanks!

Answer
Hi Robby,

I wish I could back you up on this but unfortunately it is not the case. Susan Ross' mother was played by actress Grace Zabriskie, who was on Twin Peaks and is currently on the HBO show Big Love (Lois Hendrickson). The woman from the season 3 episode "The Subway" that you are referring to, that stole George's clothes and money, was played by actress Barbara Stock, who starred in the first season of Dallas. Just thought I would throw in a little useless info. :)

Thanks for the question and please don't hesitate to write again!

Best wishes,
yada yada yada,
Ariela
