What is the real name of the Newman character?

Answer
Newman is his real name.  

It is unknown if this is his first or last name because his full name has never been mentioned on the show.  

His US Postal Service business card even only had "Newman" on it.

Sorry.  Just one of the unsolved mysteries of the universe.
