Seinfeld - Elaine evading a question.

Expert: Rob Alexander - 10/25/2007

Question
Hello for my communications class our instructor cited a episode where Elaine was avoiding asking her boyfriend a question because if answered incorrectly it would spell doom for the relationship. By the end of the episode she asked the question he answered incorrectly and they parted company. Any thoughts as to the episode?

Thank you so much in advance.

JC

Answer
Hello Julie,

If I am not mistaken, you are referring to the episode called "The Couch" in which Elaine went out with a furniture moving guy and the topic "Elaine was avoiding" was asking her new beau if he was pro-choice or pro-life.  He was, much to her chagrin, pro-life, hence resulting in yet another doomed relationship.
