Self Defense/Training for speed

hello,
      i just researched a lot read all bruce lee books appllied them all but i cant get the lightening speed of bruce lee i know how to trin for other areas like strenght,stamina etc but still after much work and research i cant have a proper layout working of how to generate speed
         thanks please give me some basics of that and some training plans thanks

Thanks for your patience.

Good to hear that you are trying to improve your speed.

Below are some of my suggestions:
1/ "Empty your mind." - Bruce Lee.  Some of my students think and/or talk to themselves when they are doing a technique.  Both slows them down.
2/ Relax. Sometimes our contracting muscles work against us.
3/ Remember to breath - This helps us to relax.
4/ Increase flexibility - This helps us to relax.
5/ Practice Chi Gong - This helps us to hit with effortless power
6/ Repetition under a good instructor - Perfect practice makes perfect. A good instructor can provide constructive feedback from a third party perspective.
7/ Look up Partrick Strong on the Internet.  Patrick is a 1st generation student of Bruce Lee.  He has done much research on Bruce Lee's speed.
