Self Defense - video training tapes

Expert: Hardrock - 6/6/2002

Question
please sir,,recommend a number of good home-study video courses by well-respected martial arts teachers in SELF DEFENSE , MARTIAL ARTS , KUNG FU ,Karate?and where is it? i want Excellent video training tapes which are much better than books?

Answer
Good Afternoon Hgarh,
Panther Productions has some of the better self-defense videos on the market, and these are sold through Century Martial Arts Supplies (sorry I don't have their web site address handy, but I do have a link to it on my web page www.seiyo-shorinryu.org).  Some of the tapes are not very good, but I've found that the jujutsu tapes by Shoto Tanemura and George Kirby are excellent.  The karate and kobudo videos by Tadashi Yamashita are also very good - you will find that these are much better than any book on the market.

Sincerely,

Dan
