Question My mother will soon enter a nursing home & has this decision to make,private room or semi-private room.What are the + & -'s for a semi-private room?Thanks!

I've never been asked this question before so I hope this at least gives you some good ideas to talk to your mom about.
Ask yourself or your mom these questions. Is your mom an outgoing person or a private person.
Does your mom have short term memory loss or the beginning signs of Dementia that would possibly bother the roommate?
How does the roommate or your mom sleep at night?
You need to try to make sure that your mom will be a good fit for the potential roommate keeping in mind there's probably no "perfect" roommate.
I hope this gives you some ideas to discuss with your mom or the nursing home owner.
