Question
My mother is going to a nursing home & is unable to make the decision, double room or private room.3 of her children are for a double room & 3 are for a private room. How do we resolve this issue? Thanks much!

Answer
Randy:

Private rooms are generally more expensive than shared rooms. If money is not an issue, then you'll have to figure out if your mom is a private person or not. Because when the second bed is going to be taken, your mom may not be given the opportunity to find out if she will be compatible with the potential roommate.

I hope this answers your question.

Sincerely,
Alan B.
