About MaryJo Mellado Willey
Expertise
I take my children camping in Sequoia often. I have favorite places to visit, and some easy hikes to take. There is also a small lake close by where one can fish, swim, or rent a small boat.

Experience
I've camped in both Lodgepole and Dorst campgrounds. There are plusses to both of them.

Question
Hi MaryJo I am planning to go up to the Azelia campsite in a couple of weeks but I've never been up there any particular site that would be good area for family especially for a first time visitor?

Answer
Hi Albert,

Although we have driven past the campground, we haven't actually stayed there.  The campground itself is really nice, and in a nice, central location, however, I couldn't recommend any particular site.  I would love to read your observations when you return.

Regards,

Mary Jo
