AboutSal Expertise I am privileged to be able to offer an alternative insight into the complicated world of Seventh-Day Adventists (SDA) theology. I will rely heavily on the Bible, but will also consider history and use logic in exposing deficiencies in SDA teachings. I would ask anyone who is considering becoming a SDA or if you are already in the SDA church, but are searching for the truth, to please allow me to offer a different explanation for the claims of the SDA. Remember : "The truth will set you free" (John 8:32). I can answer your questions pertaining to the beliefs and history of the SDA. I am not able to answer questions concerning spirituality or church discipline.
Experience I have extensively studied the theology of the Seventh-Day Adventists (SDA) for a number of years. I have many books and tape sets produced by experts in this field of study. I have debated current members of the SDA church. I have a great desire to help these people see the truth.

Question Hi Sal, thank you very much for your past answers, and for all the work you are doing for Christ. My dad has been an SDA for the past forty years, and has always kept the sabbath, and told others to do the same. For the past few months I've been using the answers you have been giving others to show him that Christians do not have to keep the sabbath to have salvation, its been difficult, but I've noticed he is becoming more and more interested in what Im telling him, the one thing that troubles him though is Daniel 7:25, he says that if the sabbath was abolished along with all the old laws, what does daniel mean when he says the beast will think to change times and laws, he says that the sabbath is a law and has a specific time, so Daniel can only be talking about the sabbath. What should my response be to this? Thanks again, God bless you...
Answer Dear Brother Wayne:
It’s not only the 7th day Sabbath that has a certain time associated with it. All Jewish religious festivals are observed at a particular time (see Leviticus 23). Many translators recognize this fact and consequently translate “times” as “feast days” (NAB), “sacred feasts and holy days” (AMP), “sacred festivals” (NLT, YLT), “sacred seasons” (CEV), and “religious festivals” (HCSB).
In Daniel 7:25 Daniel is prophesying the persecution of the Jewish religion. This was fulfilled in the Seleucid King Antiochus Epiphanes. What Antiochus factually did to the Jewish religion supports “times” meaning all Jewish feast days—weekly, monthly, and yearly. He looted the Temple. He profaned the sanctuary with blood of animals that the Jews consider unclean. He prohibited the Jewish religion and tried to replace it with Greek customs in an effort to unite all the people under his rule. Antiochus was certainly interested in changing more than just the 7th day Sabbath. He thought to change all the feast days and laws of Israel.
God Bless You for the work you are doing with your Dad.
