Question
Dear Pastor Carpenter,
I and a part of my family are going through a very terrible cycle of apparently demonic inspired persecution that began shortly after 1998 when I accepted Christ to come into my life (And even an earlier period before I back slid). To make a very long story shorter this wicked, nasty, and bitter persecution has me admittedly VERY upset and quite depressed. MOST Christians I come into contact with here in the USA/New York can NOT identify with it. It has involved the people who reside on top of our apartment, and includes shootings from the windows to intimidate, mean stares by drug dealers outside, banging on the floors, walls, etc.. as a way to destroy my sleeping ability to cause sleep deprivation, throwing things at the windows/windowsills (I figure to compel me to move which I cannot $afford$ to do). The people live above me. As a matter of fact this is the fourth family to begin this in 2 different locations. They ALWAYS live directly above my/our apartment, and ALWAYS involve a particular minority (Not Black) ethnic group. What seemingly sets them off the most is THEY HATE PRAYER, and when I pray in the bathroom they come above me screaming and cursing their hatred. I WOULD MOVE IF I COULD AFFORD IT, but I'm unemployed and desperately searching for work. I'm convinced it is demonic at the core, and I've examined so many scriptures pertaining to this situation: Matthew 5:10-12; 2 Timothy 2:11-13; 1 Peter 4:12-19; 1 Peter 3:10-18, etc.. The problem is I'm SICK OF THIS NONSENSE, WHY DOESN'T GOD FORCE SATAN TO SEND THEM SOMEWHERE ELSE? I'M NOT THE ONLY PERSON/FAMILY IN THE USA CLAIMING TO BE A CHRISTIAN. With two of these families there has even been violence already resulting in arrest & Court action, and now the fourth family just moved in over the Summer. After the last family left I PRAYED HARD that God would place a Bible reading, God fearing, Church attending Christian family there, instead a demonic force is there threatening more violence against me (And worse just moved in, and does not even know me? I STRONGLY suspect the last family recommended them). Pastor Carpenter, I feel angry and betrayed by God, because I was really trying to improve my overall life. I was already going to Church, and even unemployed I'm not trying to get into trouble, because I mostly stay indoors (Except to buy household things, or seek work or something). Point is, Does he want Satan to destroy my future with a prison sentence, since He ignores my prayers to REMOVE the ingredients already in motion for this wicked disaster against my life, because of these idiots? If He does not want to stop them then HELP me financially to move to another state. I have hardly EVER met a Christian who is going through this, and it defies those who wonder how come persecution is not happening in the USA. Why doesn't God send people like this to Joel Osteen (I don't mean literally I mean people who are claiming Christendom who are seemingly well off)? I'm forced to face this uneducated juvenile, unintelligible nonsense daily from some kind of addicts, or whatever they are.... I want to live in a house (NOT haunted) with no neighbors to much, due to my experience, Where is a loving father to answer my prayers? Here in New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg it was revealed has about $17 billion dollars. Well, if one of his two daughters were going through this nonsense I really believe he would have helped to relocate them to a farm if need be, Who would harass them then? The cattle? No Bloods, No Crips, No Latin Kings coming around the corner No MORE!!! Why are some Christians persecuted and others being left alone, and can NOT identify with this? Years ago I once read many Israelis said they would make a deal with the devil if it would bring peace (Which may be a truer Omen than many of them currently believe), and while I'm NOT willing to go that far I understand what it means to want to be left alone by "low lifes" with no ambition about themselves except to live to hurt other people. It has made me to have an honest hatred for what cities represent, and I resent living in one....
I do not understand the Adventist health message anymore in a sense, because eating healthy is of little importance if God is going to allow killers to move near His people, and have Satan hope friction is the outcome by seemingly bringing two groups together for the sake of playing them off against one another. I believe sleep deprivation is a silent killer. Why can't He use someone else to be persecuted? I see many people Christians and non-Christians who are combative....Can't the Lord send these ignorant beings there? I'm not looking for a fight with no sick murdering monsters. If they want to kill so badly, Why not go shoot it out with the police, or sign up for the war in Afghanistan? Why does not God send them there? Anyway, Pastor Carpenter I apologize for the rant. I guess I'm angry at it, and find it sickening to tell the truth. I will await your reply.

I am very sorry for my late response. I believe that it is time for you to fight with the weapons God gave you. God has placed Government powers in place to help you.
Romans 13:1-5
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. I strongly suggest that you report these people and let God's agents, the civil authorities deal with these evil doers. I also suggest that you get your pastor involved. He is your shepherd and is charged with the task of protecting the sheep.
