AboutAnthony Expertise Can one know God and not keep His commandments? Let John answer (1Jn2:4). He that says, I know Him and keeps not His commandments (including the 4th) is a liar and the truth is not in him. Since Seventh-Day Adventists derive their teachings from the Holy Bible, I will answer questions on any Biblically related subject or topic and questions on distinct Adventist practice and doctrine. Remember Paul`s words that state in the last days there will be deceivers seeking to lead astray many, yet the sincere believer can take comfort in the Lord`s promise that anyone desiring to know His truth will know it. May the Lord bless you as you seek Him.

I asked Sal a question a few hours ago and he quickly replied to me privately saying “Please clarify your question”. I honestly feel that he has no intention in answering my question and plans to continue these wild goose chases with me from this point forward since I am making a stand against his double speak and spin doctoring.
That said I am sending my question/comment to you so that people on this site can start to see Sal for the wolf in sheep’s clothing that he truly is.
Here is what I asked Sal…
You really need to think beyond what you have been taught by the Catholic Church once and a while Sal.
You said that Noah was commanded by God to take 7 pairs of clean animals and only one pair of unclean animals on the Ark so that the clean animals could be used for sacrifice without Noah causing their extinction… Think about that for two seconds Sal and tell us exactly what would have happened if just one unclean animal was killed for food before it was able to reproduce. I can see it now… Noah says to his family, “Let’s celebrate being back on dry land with a pig roast… Whoops, sorry God, but we just caused the permanent extinction of pigs.”
I am convinced that this makes it quite clear that God had no intention of allowing Noah and his family to eat meat from any unclean animal, yet you would have everyone believe otherwise. Why?
What sort of clarification does he need?
Maranatha!

Hi John, hope all is going well with you. I seem to think that there could never be enough clarification for the terminally close minded. No matter how simple and clear cut something is this kind will stretch the imagination to any lengths to believe a lie. I copied the account of Noah starting from just when the waters were dried up and they were instructed to leave the ark. The reason is because there is much misunderstanding about verse 9:3 where God says that every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you. Many fail to take into account the rest of that verse which reads “EVEN AS the green herbs have I given you all things.” Every green herb is not good for food because there are “green herbs” that are poisonous, that are weeds, that are inedible. The “every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you” is to be understood in the same sense as “even as the green herbs…” An additional thing to notice in the account of Noah is that God made the statement about every moving thing being food just as they were leaving the ark so you know that God did not have the unclean in mind because there was only 1 pair of them and as you mentioned if eaten they would become extinct. Just as every green herb is not good for food, so every moving thing is not good for food. A slug moves, a cockroach moves, a rat moves but all these are not good for food. So how does one know what moving things are good for food. Leviticus 11 tells you. If a person just used their reasoning and logic it would make perfect sense because the same Person that gave instructions to Noah gave instruction in Leviticus 11. There are some who claim to “rely heavily on the Bible and on logic” who still cannot see this. I’m sure you recognize that phrase because one “expert” uses that terminology in his bio on how he answers questions.
8:15 And God spake unto Noah, saying,8:16 Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee.8:17 Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth. 8:18 And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him:8:19 Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark. 8:20 And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. 8:21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savor; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. 9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. 9:2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. 9:3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.
