Seventh-Day Adventists/who can and cannot preach the Gosple
Expert: Matt - 6/17/2009
QuestionWho can and cannot Preach the Gos[ple Of Our Saviour?I will asking this same question to some of the other experts.I really wants the truth,According to the bible,Matt.28:19,20.He was addressing all of the body of christ which did include women and elderly people. If the HolyGhost see fit in all it's glory and power to ordain one to preach, minister, teach, etc.why would the church find ways NOT to over-ride the authority of the Holy Ghost?
instead of doing what ever they feel is decency and order
according to them?I love my people (Body of Christ),But we must stop doing and organizing with manmade rules and regulations and then use God's word to iinstil the kind of fear that we should only have if we disobeyed God.I love reading my bible and to do so and get revelation from heaven is a true blessing.Since becoming an SDA,I know i'm in the right place only we as SDA must be sure that all men and women is equipped to teach, baptize, and observe all
things as so commanded,it's God's will.again,How do I become what God has called and ordained me to be and do?
AnswerHi Sherrie,
God gave the commission to all of His followers (Body of Christ). The easiest and most effective way to share Christs love with others is by sharing our personal testimony. Its the easiest thing to do and yet so many decide not to do it! You dont need a background in theology...or any training for that matter. Just share your story.
If you feel that God is calling you do still do more, you will need to pray a great deal and find out what God wants you to be doing. The best way is to (for example) plan something with the help of your church and never stop praying for Gods guidence and for His blessing. If you keep Him first and foremost in your planning you will succeed.
You do not have to be ordained, preach, or even go to Andrews in order to share Christ with others!!! God has a part for you to play in His plan already. Wheather your part is shareing with your neighbors, going on mission trips, doing Bible studies, or all the above...you need to be pro-active to be a true Christian!
The key is never leaving God behind in your planning, organizing, and execution of your outreach. Also...dont forget to pray for divine appointments so that God can set you up with differant opprotunities to share His Word.
I hope that this answers your question.
Godbless!
