Seventh-Day Adventists/Sins transferred to Jesus

The cross of Jesus Christ was a one time event where all sin was paid for past, present and future. People don't go to hell because of sin, it's because they won't accept the payment for sin. Chances are if you are human, you will die with some sin in  your life.  1 John 1:9 isn't about salvation from the penalty of sin but the power of sin in your life. In this verse he restores fellowship with you for not only the sin you confess but also the sins you don't know about.  It's about restoring the "mind of Christ".
