Adam was not deceived by the serpent, as was Eve, and it was inexcusable in Adam to rashly transgress God's positive command. Adam was presumptuous because his wife had sinned. He could not see what would become of Eve.

i encourage the participants in this forum to be more informed and read properly. Read the writings and the topics concerning the discussion and you'll be surprised...buy the CD Software of her writings and do little more research...you can even make the bible say what it is not really saying...Bible prophets lived in a different time from ours they were not subject to all the laws and rules of writing like we are...nowadays in our time we have a lot of word games that takes people from one debate to another with no ending.

In your first statement you have misquoted EGW. She did not say that the plan of salvation was given after sin. Her quote says that the plan of salvation was revealed to Moses. Moses wasn’t present before the foundations of the world. This misrepresentation questions all of your other statements that follow. It becomes a slippery slope when we interpret the Bible or anyone else’s statements. Even Married couples misunderstand each other and need to clarify. Before you explain others motives or engage in a communication process ask do you have presumptions. All of us come to the table with preconceived opinions, misguided opinions and uninvestigated theories. Bigotry and prejudice are given fuel by assumptions and misinformation. Engage with those who understand the writings of E.G. White. By the way The Bible is the rule of Faith, other writings including extracurricular writing you read will never be put on the same level with the Bible. The Bible is the rule of faith and all other writings, sermons, opinions are lesser light.

Ellen G. White does not contradict the Bible in any way. If you read the Bible studying to find the truth, you will see that she only explains the Bible in more detail. God inspired the Prophets to write the Bible and God did the same when He inspired Ellen White to read about the Bible. The Bible says "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" 2 Tim. 3:16
If you read in the Bible it explains the way true Prophets are identified (by what they act like in vision) and Ellen White fits all those criteria. No one who is not inspired by God can stop breathing for a long time unless God is sustaining them.
May you study you Bible and "taste and see that the LORD is good"(Psalm 34:8), and do not take anyone's word for it, not even mine, but read and study for yourself and pray, and God will show you the truth! :) He says "And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13

it is satanic to argue with half of the text. but like Jesus we should say: it is also written ...
and so I do:
Ellen white also writes:
She (Maria) could not remain away from the suffering scene. Jesus’ last lesson was one of compassion and humanity. He looked upon his mother, whose heart was well nigh bursting with grief, and then upon his beloved disciple John.
Selected messages chapter named: the crucifixion of christ
this is only One - I ask: who is the false prophet?
I ASK You: who are you? Ellen white warns us also that false prophets come out of our midst. Ex adventists are like the wolf in the sheep's clothing.
