Question My family and I have been watching 7th Heaven on DVD. I have become convinced that Mary must have ADD. She seems to have many characteristics of the female with ADD who isn't hyperactive and is "missed" and gets into trouble! She is impulsive and gets angry easily and frequently makes bad choices. If they were to keep going with the show, they should provide her with a diagnosis and get her on medication!

No, Mary doesn't have ADD. I've always thought Mary was the most relatable of the kids. She isn't perfect, makes mistakes, has gotten into some trouble, and so on and so on. Impulsive?. Maybe, but that's not always a bad thing, or a clear cut case of ADD. Makes bad choices?. Who doesn't?. Most of this stuff with Mary was when she was still a teenager. It can be a rough time at various points in a teen's life. Many different emotions and feelings. Mary is quite normal if you ask me. No need for medication there. Thanks for writing.
