I do not have a pattern I'm trying learn to sew the basics first so could you please tell me the trick about sewing a crotch into a pair of pants. I have cut out four pieces with the seam of the crotch in sort of a semi circle. I know You should turn the one leg inside out and put it into the other but when I do that it does not work. what am I doing wrong?
Answer Hi Penelope,
I have found that the instructions in patterns can sometimes be confusing.
Here is how I do it.
1. stitch the front center seam
2. stitch the back center seam
3. stitch the inseam, from one leg bottom to the other.
