About Vinette de Phillipe Expertise I have many years of experience and can answer most questions pertaining to sewing, altering patterns, finding notions, and more.
Experience I have been making my own clothes since 1957. Have taught many classes both for young and adults, including my two boys.
Question I have slightly rounded shoulders (I've altered the pattern to accommodate that without altering the circumference of the armscye), also forward thrusting shoulders. The sleeve front bunches out - I have tried taking out 1/2" vertically on the pattern, but then can't move arm forward without binding. The back also has a slanting fold. I've adjusted easing more times than I can count. I now have about 15 sleeve patterns made over 2 years and none work. Please help before I drive myself mad. Tres, North Bay, Ontario
Answer Hi Tres,
I wont be able to give an exact answer, but some help
You will need a friend to help.
put the garment on, have the friend use pins for marking the problems area and making the adjustments \. after this you chould be able to fix the sleeve by using the markings
This is hard for one to instruct unless one can see the way it hangs on you.
