Question
I was wondering if the bobbin case is causing this machine to not stitch properly. needle seems ok and I can see the thread go around but the cloth is not stictched.
feed dogs are metal but the bobbin case is plastic
what could it be

Answer
Nick,
Even if the needle looks OK, I would suggest that you start by changing it.  I suggest changing your needle after 8 hours sewing.

You can also take the plate off and clean the feed dogs, sometimes lint gets between them.  I use a can of spray air and clean my machine once a week.

Many machines today have plastic bobbin cases, I do not think that is the problem.  Most likely the timing if off, which requires a professional repair service.

Sorry I can not be of more help, let me know it this works.
