Question machine worked fine till needle broke. have two packs of replacement needles, both packs are the same length (both are 15x1; one pack size 14, one size 16). needle is bottoming out and bending at the point. help!
Answer Dear Vincent,
It sounds as if you are not getting the needles inserted quite far enough or the needles are not the right size. Check your manual for the size. The flat side of the needle faces to the back on most machines. Make sure you are getting the opening where the needle is inserted open completely and the needle then pushed all the way up. I seem to remember having this problem before myself and it just took some trial and error to get the needles set just right.
