Question
My Mother's estate includes a Singer 401A we're thinking she purchased in the early 70's.  How much can we expect to sell this for?  Unfortunately none of us inherited the sewing talent or knowledge of machines.  Thanks for your help.

Answer
This machine is my favorite machine.  I got one for my 8th grade graduation in 1961.  I have purchased 401 A's for $65 - $300.    Email me when you know what you want to sell it for.  I have a school for kids in the summer and we can use any machines at a good price.
