Sewing/cravat pattern

Question
my son is getting married this summer and he has asked me to make some cravats for the groomsmen.  Is there a pattern I should buy or should I buy one and take a pattern from it.  He has already brought the matterial, which matches the bridesmaids dresses, so I guess he has more faith in me than I have.

Answer
I checked Simplicity, McCalls,Butterick and Vogue online and found Vogue has a pattern that MAY work.  The only hint I could give you is one I got from my sister who is a professional seamstress - mainly weddings.  She says the Good Will has tons of ties and the like and she buys those and pulls the buckram for her new ties.  She says this is a softer fabric than you can buy in the fabric stores and has a better drape to it.
