Hello
I have been in a relationship "officially" with my boyfriend for 6 months. We are both almost 18. We have spoken about sex, arranged contraception and have both decided that yes, we would like to lose our virginity to each other. I feel deeply respected by him and I trust him and I feel emotionally mature, so I am of no doubt that I am ready for sex.
The problem is that I am very conscious of some scarring I have from a bad skin condition and about a problem I have with circulation, so I can go a bit blotchy and purple sometimes, especially in the cold... I am worried that my body will look unappealing to him if it is not perfectly clear etc...
I know this is the talk of a typical teenager, but I am generally afraid.
I know he loves me very much and says im a great kisser and that he thinks i am beautiful...
Shall I tell him i am self-conscious?
Also.. I am about 5 kilos overweight.. self-conscious!!

He knows how much you weigh, he's not stupid (or at least I hope)
But as for the other things, talk to him about it. My fiance` has a skin condition and through a few conversations, I have come to completely overlook it. Hopefully he can do the same with you.
