i have recently started try anal when i masterbate but all i use is my finger.....are there any household items i could use such as fruits or anything

Anal tissue is one of the most delicate tissues of the human body, you run a major risk using anything other than what is made specifically for anal penetration.  There are some great toys out there made for beginners use to advanced use.

You want to make sure that you are being safe while experimenting with anal stimulation.  Add lube to your finger/toy and your anus. The tissue of the rectum is sensitive, it doesn't self-lubricate as does the vagina, and it can suffer little micro tears and abrasions quite easily. So be gentle when you explore, and use lots and lots of lubricant—try Entice by Babeland or Maximus. These thicker lubes are great for anal sex because the don’t evaporate as quickly. I recommend using a toy with a larger base.  The Anal canal is long and unlike the vagina does not stop at a certain point.  Toys are made with larger bases so the toy does not get stuck inside of you.
