Expertise
I can answer just about any sex toy question or gear related lifestyle question. I'd steer clear of explicitly medical questions, unless they relate to medical toys.

Experience
I'm here as a representative of www.eXtremeRestraints.com. We're one of the world's biggest online BDSM and fetish gear retailers. We hand picked our selection of products so we'd better know them, and we carry everything from the most basic bullet vibes to giant dildos and sex machines. So whatever you're into or want to ask about, it's our job to know. If we don't carry it, I'll still try to give you the best answer.

Sex Toys - need for sex ?

Question
All of my life, I am now in my late 30s, happily married to a liberal husband, I have felt that I actually NEEDED sex many times a day.  It has never interfered with my daily life, I work out of my home as a CPA.   I have an MBA.  But I actually feel ILL if I go a day or two with good sex.  I read where President JFK claimed he also felt the same way.  Is there any medical documentation for this condition ?  I don't feel it is an addiction, I actually feel ill without it.  Sites ?  Publications ?   Experts ?

Thanks !

Answer
Sorry to take so long. This is a little outside of my expertise, so I did some quick research. I think this falls under behavioral addictions. I got a big list of negative side effects to sex addiction, none of which seem to be a problem for you as you seem happy.
What I can say is that sex is a powerful thing and your body just may be tuned to it. If you have this under control, I wouldn't worry about it. If you feel it's a problem for you, I'd seek counseling, but only after perhaps trying to scale it back to once a day. If you're happy, don't change a thing.
Also, don't take advice from any site with a religious slant. Sex addiction tends to fall into a realm whith fewer legitimate scientists and more nutcases with issues. The things I see when I Google it seem to sync up with what I see on people against masturbation and porn.
Good luck. Sorry I couldn't help more.

Again, this is outside of my expertise. There are probably plenty of valid therapists who can help you, and for all I know you may need some sort of help. Just remain skeptical for my sake, and don't let anyone convince you that you have more of a problem than you really do. Some people would judge you very lucky.
