Question
I am trying to do some homework and I am looking for help. I am looking for a place to find information about events today that are similar to the events in Hamlet. I really need help knowing where i may find this information. I loved Hamlet with the death betrayal and lies. Thanks in advance for any help.

Answer
Rona,

You want scandals.  You will find these in tabloid newspapers and scandal-based chat shows like the Jerry Springer Show.   Newspapers will probably be your best best.  Do a google news search (go to www.google.com and click the News tab at the top) for phrases like "married her husband's murderer" and other key plot points.  There are various time frames which you can search; I'd suggest trying all the archive settings until you get what you need.  There should be plenty but I'd suggest searching American papers because that kind of behaviour is more common in America (large mostly-athiest population).  If you can identify individual scandal rags (News of The World; Sun; Star; National Enquirer - the Sun and Star are US papers but the UK ones of the same name might offer similar stories) then you may well be able to search their own archives on their websites - many newspapers offer this facility.

I hope that helped
