Question
QUESTION: Hello!

I downloaded some freeware software for my pocket PC and the files have 000 and 001 extensions. I want to know if there is a freeware to join these files.

Thanks

ANSWER: hi thanks for your question.

winrar is the most popular and recommended choice to open file extensions however it is shareware. (there is a free trial for the odd file)

freeware options similar to winrar are 7-zip and IZArc however i am unsure if they recognize the file but you could give them a try.

thanks

QUESTION: Hi

Thanks for the reply. I tried opening the files with WinRar. Doesn't work, the files are not recognised by WinRaR.

Thanks

Answer
hmm im sorry to hear that, it might be just the full version though i dont want to be responsible for paying for indefinite programs.

theres file extensions .000 for different program and i dont no what program you are looking for. try this website www.fileinfo.net/extension/ and search for .000 and .001 and it will tell you all programs, search the 1 you want and it will tell you how to open it.

thanks.
