Hi,
I have a windows MCE computer with a tv tuner and PVR.  It records tv shows in a format which must be converted to dvd format before burning dvds.  The software that came with my dell (Sonic) does not seem to be working properly. The tv show records and plays back fine with MCE, but when I burn a DVD, any one of multiple problems occour - most often the sound and video are not synchronized.  I'm thinking it's a software problem.  I did download a trial of ULead 10 Plus, and when I used that I had no sound at all - but I really didn't know what I was doing with it - no manuals or help files.  Is there any free software out there that can at least convert the TV programs to dvd format, or at best convert and burn them?  Any software I've found that can do this is at least $99.
