Shareware/Freeware/adobe audition 1.5

Question
I am using windows xp and I'm trying to take a dvd-audio disc(i'm sure you're already aware, but when i say dvd-audio its music in the DVD format, not just audio from a regular video DVD) and convert it to a form i can use on my computer (mp3,ogg,etc...).  I found someone on the web that said they simply played the dvd-audio disc through a program called CoolEdit and recorded the music playing through the soundcard.  I've found that Adobe Audition has taken over and improved on CoolEdit.  OK, now i can't figure out how to do anything on Audition because its so multi-faceted. All I want to do is record the dvd-audio and convert it to mp3 listen to it on my mp3 player.  Are you familiar enough with Audition to break it down step by step for me(which the Help section severely lacks on all fronts) or is there a better way to do this?

Answer
Hi Kevin,

Thanks for writing in.  I'm sorry, but I'm not familiar enough with AA1.5 to step-by-step it for you, but if you visit www.dvdrhelp.com , there should be a guide for what you are wanting to do.  It is a very useful site.

Sincerely,
Becky
