could you sugest the best free shareware for downloading music ect one that wont clutter my computor up with virus's

Thank you for your question. There are many good free music sites that I list after I share two freeware titles.
Audacity - http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ is a freeware that will record any audio that is being played on your pc. My son and I like a band and recently most of the members of the band left to form their own band. The new band had four songs on their website that you could listen to. So I used Audacity to record the audio and burn the songs to cd; it worked great.
Foobar2000 - http://www.foobar2000.org/ is my favorite freeware for playing audio. It plays all types of audio and will burn the audio to cd.

I will try to answer any question on what Shareware/Freeware is availiable and where to find the required software. Additionally, I have used many of the software titles, myself, and can provide guidance on which software title would fit their needs.
Experience
Because of my years working with computers, I was asked, by a relative, to find a software program that would create a resume. The problem was that the person in need of the program was out of a work and could not afford to buy a software program. My research led me to find the free Open Office suite which contained a word processing application. I was very impressed with software which started my journey of finding, installing and testing Shareware/Freeware.
