Question
I have a baby goat that is a week old. I have been bottle feeding it since it was born. The mother wanted nothing to do with it. I have been milking its mother for its bottles. It drinks fine. It was standing on its own a few days ago and was even trying to jump around. I took it out to its mom for about 15 minutes two days ago. The mother didn't even go near it. I then took it back into my home. It has not walked since. I know that it wasn't injured. I stand him up, but he falls down. He poos and pees fine. He has to be held up to pee because he won't pee laying down. What can I do to get him walking again???

Answer
hi, jean
first was fed with colostrum or first milk with in 24 hours and naval cord ligated  if no seems like you have prob of naval ill/joint ill caused by the e-coli organisms
check for
1.rectal temp,
2.swelling of the naval region.
3.swelling of the joints of the fore and hind limbs.
second did you feed the raw milk .
and did it have diarrhea,
if so it can be fluid loss and kids are vulnerable .
pls take the kid to vet
