Question
I have just purchased a beautiful shealtie and the problem is he goes everywhere. We have tried the reward system and it doesn,t seem to work I am not sure if it is the number of people in the family(4) or the the day training plan is wrong. I let him out early morning he will go on the lawn , during the day he goes near door so ithink it is working but then no good,he goes where he pleases. He has only a limited space to play so can you help with this sisutation.

Answer
seem earlier answers around the crate method and stay STRICTLY on the program until he is old enough to manage it himself, usually at 9 months but sometimes as early as 7 months.

also one person should run the first few weeks of training to make the habits, then teach your methods to create consistency from the rest of the family
