Question My Mini Shitzu is 4 years olds. Over the last month, she has decided to relieve herself indoors...pee and "boo boo." When i come home and greet her, she ultimately pees whereever I greet her and then promptly licks it up.
Help Please!
Answer Hi Segaro, I wonder if she has a urinary infection????
Please have the vet test her and do some blood work.
Also, if you change her food it may help the pooping.
I would go to a Grain-free food if possible.
My favorites are Innova EVO, Wellness Core, and Merrick BEFORE grain.
Also, SoJO home cooking - grain free green bag...
here is the SoJo link-
( free shipping to any USA address) http://www.sojos.com/index.aspx?affiliate=petnurse
When changing food do it slowly over a 2-3 week period of time...
YOU can do a 50:50 mix of the old food and new food.
I feel that this gal MUST have a urinary infection! She must....
She will need antibiotic from the vet for this.
In the future .... make sure she is taking 1/2 of a NuVET wafer per day or the NuVET Powder - it will keep her healthy and KEEPs the vet away. http://www.nuvet.com/81098
Little dogs tend to like the NuVET Plus powder better than the wafers.
