Question
Does CKC not stand for Canadian Kennel Club? Is it true they are not a recognized breed registry. They are. What else does CKC stand for?

Answer
You know CKC DOES stand for Canadian Kennel Club IN CANADA but CKC here in the states stands for Continental Kennel Club....basically CKC in the US means absolutely nothing. It doesn't even mean your dog is purebred it only means that dog looks like a certain breed. If you have a pup that is Canadian Kennel Club, it has to be from Canada and AKC does recognize those papers because Canadian Kennel Club is a reputable registry.

Honestly I think the Continental Kennel Club(CKC USA) actually did that so that it would confuse people into thinking it was Canadian KC.
