Expertise

I am happy to attempt to answer any questions regarding Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla, including show and working questions. I am also happy to give general training advice.

Experience

I have been involoved in Hungarian Wirehaired Vizslak for over 8 years, and was a founder member of the Association in the United Kingdom. I show, work and breed. I also own two other Hunt, Point, Retreive breeds - the German Wirehaired Pointer, and the Bracco Italiano. I have owned and trained a cross section of breeds over 28 years. I organise and attend training days for Wirehaired Vizslak and advise new owners on preliminary HPR training. I regularly represent the Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla at Discover Dogs (Kennel Club), game fairs and gundog parades.

Organizations
I belong to the Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Association, the Bracco Italiano Society and the Hungarian Vizsla Association.

Publications
I am co-editor of 'Hot Wires', the official magazine of the Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Association and my articles appear in several editions. I have written breed profiles for various web sites.

Education/Credentials
I am currently studying Intermediate Canine Psychology with the Animal Care College. I have undertaken a clicker training workshop and many other training courses with my own dogs.
