Question
I have three gardenia bushes. The leaves on the gardenia bushes are yellowing and falling off, the buds fall off before bloom, and the leaves were blackening. 2 of the bushes have their growth stunted and and one of them appears to be near dead. What do I need to do?

Answer
Edd,

I think that there a few conditions that are at work here, bud drop and possible overwatering. Clemson University has a terrific fact sheet at http://hgic.clemson.edu/factsheets/HGIC1065.htm This will explain everything thet you need to do.

Good luck.
