the best way to find out is by looking at  click the Silver tab, then locate the brand International Silver and click on it.  the pattern number is the year of manufacture, 1878 was the year the Laurel pattern was made.  they have a few pieces for sale right now.  I have a fork in the same pattern and I looked it up.  I see a set of 4 spoons on ebay that someone is selling for $25 and also a set of 4 forks for the same price.  my grandmother recently gave me her wedding silver from 1940 and there were some utensils that weren't from the set.  one was a fork that is the Laurel from 1878, then I have the same company's sugar spoon in the Crown pattern from 1885 and then a very old coin metal spoon from a company that only existed from 1849-54.  I can't believe these gems aren't worth very much.  the sentimental value of them belonging to my 3rd great grandmother is what I like most about them.
