Silver and Flatware - Silver item (??)

Question
Hello:  I purchased a silver item that I believe was used to clean crumbs off of cloth tablecloths, after eating.  It has a flat side (L) and then a curved side to "slide" the crumbs in.  Am I correct as to what this is?  Can you recommend a site that I could see pictures of items to compare this to?

Answer
Hello Kim.

It sounds like you may be correct.  The proper name for what you're talking about is a crumber.  They actually came in an array of styles, some meant to scrape then scoop crums from the table, others used with a brush.

Try going to eBay and searching for the word crumber.  There should be quite a few to look at there.

Regards,
Michelle
