Silver and Flatware - wallace 1935 dwt straight with flowers

Expert: Michelle Lieberman - 5/11/2009

Question
I am trying to identify this pattern - R. Wallace 1935 12
dwt, straight with two flowers (poppies?) and leaves - also
is 12 dwt silver plate?  Where can I get help identifying
the pattern?  A book perhaps?  Thanks - rebecca

Answer
Hello Rebecca.

If you want to post a photo of the pattern here, I should be able to identify it for you.  Otherwise, you can go to replacements.com and go search the thumbnail photos under Wallace.  There are also some good books for identifying silverplated flatware, "Silverplated Flatware, an Identification and Value Guide" by Tere Hagan is quite good.

Best regards,
Michelle
